RetailTec Congress 2023 Summary
Another edition of RetailTec Congress, an event that sets strategic directions for the retail sector in Poland, is behind us. This year’s 5th edition took place on 23.10.2023 at the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel in Warsaw and attracted more than 400 participants, among whom were the biggest experts in the retail industry. The congress also featured Unity Group, which is a strategic partner of the event.
The congress program was organized by the RetailTec Program Council, in which our representative Sebastian Blaszkiewicz, Head of Sales Excellence at Unity Group and member of the e-izba Program Council, is also present.
The RetailTec Congress paid special attention to the following areas:
- rapid macroeconomic changes affecting trade
- relentless changes in the retail ecosystem forcing businesses to constantly adapt
- new strategies for the transforming market that will help retailers survive and thrive in the new conditions

The lecture was conducted by Katarzyna Manios, Business & Commerce Transformation Consultant, Unity Group
Katarzyna Manios is an e-commerce development specialist and consultant with years of experience in retail companies such as Douglas, Świat Książki and Meble Forte S.A., among others. She helps build and execute an effective digital sales and marketing strategy in a customer-centric model for retail companies, as well as manufacturers. At Unity Group, she carries out consulting projects in the field of launching digital sales channels and developing multi-channel sales.
