Global4Net takes over the technical care of Rugs of London

We are pleased to announce that Global4Net has taken over technical care of Rugs of London, a company that is one of the largest carpet retailers and distributors in Europe, cooperating with the most prestigious stores in Great Britain and Europe. The company has been in the carpet industry for over 60 years and is a leader in its industry and the main source of carpet supplies for many designers and department stores across the continent. With more than 15,000 rugs in the London showroom, Rugs of London has one of the most extensive rugs offers available, including hand-woven carpets.

DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE CHANNELS

Cooperation with Global4Net is the next step of the brand on the way to the development of the online sales channel and at the same time the culmination of its long-term development plans. This is the fifth company in just 2 months, which decided to transfer its project under the wings of our Software House.

TRAINING AND SOLUTION OF KEY PROBLEMS

As part of the initial cooperation, the Gobal4Net team conducted a series of trainings for employees of the Rugs of London company and helped solve key problems that prevented the efficient functioning of the store. A number of improvements have been introduced and we have provided SLA support for the sales system. Global4Net will also support the customer in the further development and optimization of the platform.

FLEXIBILITY OF E-COMMERCE SERVICE

The experience of Global4Net in implementing on foreign markets was one of the key elements for the customer, which influenced the choice of Software House, supporting the implementation. The acquisition resulted in shortening the time necessary for the development of individual functionalities and made it possible to use within the framework of the needs of the broad competence of the company’s team, which includes project managers, UX designers, frontend developers, webmasters, and developers. Creating the same team in the company’s internal structures would involve monthly fixed costs significantly exceeding those that arise when outsourcing selected processes.

Rugs of London is another, but not the last project that Global4Net takes over. We will soon inform about new clients who transfer their projects under the care of our Software House, we are currently conducting talks on this subject with several other entities.
